Pullip Bonita: Review

Bonita certainly lives up to her name, because she is absolutely beautiful!  Everything about her is just gorgeous from head to toe! She was one of my grails, and having her in my collection is like a dream come true for me, since I thought I'd never be able to get her! Bonita is a limited edition doll that was released back in 2010 (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) and while she isn't listed in the sold out archives on PS, she has yet to show up for sale there and of course every other listing of her online has her outrageously priced! I was fortunate enough to find her on ebay for $210 (though without the style book) and even now I can't believe how lucky I was to get her!

Pullip Bonita Comes With:

- Satin fascinator embellished with lace, netting, beading, and feathers. (Ties around her head with a satin ribbon.)
- multi-strand pearl necklace with lobster claw clasp
- Two purple satin gloves
- Purple and black satin and lace top
- Purple and black satin and lace skirt
- Purple and black satin purse
- Black dotted tights
- Purple heels
- Mini book with a picture of Bonita on the cover (matches the actual style book)
- Pullip Bonita's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Gorgeous glittery violet eye chips!
- Glamorous faceup! Purple and brown eye shadow are placed along her crease, outer corners, and lower lash lines, berry colored cheeks, and dusty rose lips!
- Lids are painted a shimmery purple with black liner!
- Her wig is a lovely deep brunette! In certain lighting, it can look almost black with a bit of a wine colored tint to it!
- No wig netting showing through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Wig is fairly manageable and easy to take care of.
- Her accessories are so cute!
- Stock outfit is beautiful and adorned with lots of lace, bows, and roses!
- Type 4 body!
- Shoes stay on fairly well. (I kept on the plastic around her legs since it's hidden fairly well by her stockings to prevent them from staining her legs, so it's possible that it's helping her shoes stay on better.)

Cons:

- Satin material frays easily.
- Stock outfit can potentially stain her body. (Bonita comes wrapped in plastic to protect her body from staining.)
- The bow on her skirt is not sewn on well. Mine was coming undone and I had to stitch it back on. (May vary from doll to doll.)
-  Her purse opens and closes with velcro. This is a problem since her purse is made of satin, and the velcro can ruin the material if it snags onto it.
- Her necklace and hat can be a hassle to put on.
- Very costly doll. She's no longer being sold on the Groove website and is not currently listed on pullipstyle.com. She runs from $300-$600 on other sites.

Neutral:

- Bonita's eyes don't close all the way, but it seems that that's just the way she's made, based off of what I've seen in other owner photos.
- Her stock outfit is not one piece, her top and skirt are separate. It's not a huge issue, but in a way, I wish they did make it one piece because her skirt sometimes slips down a bit.

The Verdict:

If you really want her and have the means to buy her or have found her for a reasonable price, I would definitely urge you to get her. She's limited edition, so I would advise you to jump at any good deal that you can find if you're really looking in to buying her! I assure you that you will not be sorry if you happen to purchase her! I cannot stress how beautiful Bonita is and she is easily among my favorites out of all the dolls I have so far! She's an absolute treasure that would be a great addition to any doll collection! While she would look very pretty in other outfits, I would recommend not redressing her if you plan on putting her back in her stock again, since she has some pieces that may require a lot of patience to put back on as well as some very delicate pieces. I know I personally don't want to redress her myself and put up with the tedious work of putting her original stock outfit back on her, but it's really up to you on what you would like to do if you choose to get her.

My New Doll Set-Up!

My collection continues to grow as my space for my dolls continues to dwindle! My husband and I just recently put up some shelves to help with what will most likely be a never ending battle of making room for them, especially since I have a few dolls on their way to me as of right now (Pullip Kirsche, Pullip Snow White, and Dal Huge Cinnamoroll for those who may be curious) and many more on my wishlist! I find it so hard to stop building up my collection even further. It's like once you start, you just can't get enough!  I felt it would be best to put all my Dals up on the shelves since they're a bit shorter than the Pullip dolls and were being hidden behind them. Heck, some of my Pullips block my other Pullip dolls from view! (Pullip Misako, I'm looking at you... blocking poor Hannah like that!) I may have to find more ways I can rearrange them so that way they can all shine on display without being overshadowed by another doll, but for now, this is an improvement!

Pullip Wilhelmina: Review

After a good while of putting off getting her and meaning to save up for her, my husband had took it among himself to buy Wilhelmina for me for my birthday! She made it to me just a few days ago, and to say the least, she is striking! Though she has a very gothic vibe to her, something about the way her faceup was done gives her a somewhat gentle and kind look, possibly because it wasn't done so dark and heavily. Either way, I love that they didn't make her look harsh or scary, despite her being a witch! She's so gorgeous in person and I'm so happy to finally be able to welcome her into my doll family!

Pullip Wilhelmina Comes With:

- Witch's hat with lace applique and faux snakeskin bow and dangling chain detailing
- Gothic long sleeved dress with a corset and train skirt
- Black fishnet tights
- Black and red plastic boots
- Witch's broom with bow decoration and faux (?) fur bristles
- Pullip Wilhelmina's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Her wig coloring is much prettier than in pictures! The red is much more vibrant in person. Also, her wig is actually made up with three colors: brown, red, and white. (The white streaks the red parts of her hair very subtly.)
- Wig is very manageable!
- There is no wig netting showing through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Gorgeous eyechips! They're a nice deep green with yellow highlights!
- Unique faceup! She has lots of long lashes bordering her eyes and smokey gray eye shadow with a peach color painted along the inner corners of her eyes! Her lips are also a sheer and somewhat glossy grayish-brown color.
- Her stock outfit, as I had mentioned already, is very detailed! There's so much to it and it's beautifully created!
- Boots stay on her feet well and can easily be removed and slid back on due to the slits in the back of them.
- Type 4 body!

Cons:

- As beautiful as her stock is, it seems to be really fragile and like it would tear or fall apart easily, especially the lace parts of her sleeves, and the lining of her hat and skirt.
-The chain detailing that hang from the brim of her hat and along her skirt can potentially break and are not sewn on very well.
- Her hat falls off easily and doesn't have anything to help hold it in place.
- Her stock can possibly cause staining on her body. (I haven't noticed any staining on my doll, but I've also kept the plastic around her body for the most part, aside from the plastic that was guarding her arms and hands.)

Neutral:

- Her sleeves are a bit too long and get caught on her hands. It's a bit annoying when trying to pose her, but can be worked around.
- She can't hold her broom in her hand. It would have been nice to maybe have one of her hands made to hold it, like they have for Pullip Sfoglia and Pullip Varele.

The Verdict:

I personally really love Wilhelmina overall! She stands out in her gothic attire and has a lot of gorgeous qualities about her! She's also very fun to photograph and would look amazing on display! The downside  is that she's not a very versatile doll and there are a wide variety of styles that may not flatter her. However, if you love gothic fashion or just plan on keeping her in her stock, then I highly recommend getting her!

Pullip Tokidoki x Hello Kitty Violetta: Review

Earlier this month, a new Tokidoki doll had been released! Violetta is a double collaboration doll with Tokidoki and Hello Kitty, and as a fan of both brands, I jumped at this doll! Unfortunately, the version I had bought was not the special edition one, but there really doesn't seem to be a big difference between the dolls other than the fact that the special edition one comes with an Adios doll, a Hello Kitty cactus bag, and a parasol that matches the print on her dress, and that the extra accessories will set you back an extra $50  to $60. (The special addition totals up to an average of $200, versus the price of $144 or so for the non-special edition doll.) So, while the extra accessories are pretty cool, I just didn't think it was worth spending the extra money for them when I could get a more rare doll for around that price, so I went for the one that costed the least amount of money. Either way though, I'm so happy to have her!

Pullip Violetta (non-SE) Comes With:

- Hat with Hello Kitty and Adios star pinned onto it
- Leather jacket with Hello Kitty design on the back
- 2 hot pink arm warmers
- 2 Tattoo stickers
- Dress with a Tokidoki x Hello Kitty pattern
- Belt with a Hello Kitty bow-shaped buckle
- A pair of black shorts
-A pair of orange polka dot knee high socks
- A pair of black, glittery mary janes
- Pullip Violetta's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Lovely violet wig in styled in a medium-length bob!
- Beautiful and bold faceup consisting of brown eye shadow, painted on lashes that give her eyes a sort of cat eye shape, pink blush, and hot pink lips!
-  Painted teeth give her a nice, pleasant expression!
- Her lids are painted a rich, deep brown color with a strip of black liner!
- The zipper on her jacket is functional!
- The belt on her jacket is easy to both fasten and unfasten
- Stock material is fairly sturdy and durable!
- No wig netting showing through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Type 4 body!

Cons:

- There is nothing to help secure her hat to her head to prevent it from falling off. No clip, no comb, no tie, nothing.
- Buttons near the cuffs of her jacket are similar to the studs on the previous Tokidoki dolls and may easily fall off.
- She doesn't come with as much stuff as the previous Tokidoki releases, even though she is offered at the same price.
- You have to pay even more for the Special Edition if you DO want her other accessories, as I had wrote in the beginning paragraph of this post.
- It can be a struggle putting on and taking off her jacket.
- Her arm warmers can be a little hard to put on and can potentially get caught by her thumbs and rip.

Neutral:

- She doesn't come with as many tattoos as Pullip Luna and Pullip Lunarosa. It would have been nice to have included more to place on her.
- The glitter on her shoes is a bit patchy and unevenly applied.

The Verdict:

I really love this doll! I love her style, though some may feel that her outfit may have too much going on or that some parts of her outfits clash together. I personally think that she looks cool and unique, and honestly am quite a fan of the way she was designed! I really feel that fans of both Tokidoki and Hello Kitty will love her just as much as I do!

Isul Beary Fairy Gosomi!

Note: These images are NOT mine! I'm only using these since they are the only available photos of Isul Gosomi so far.

It seems that a new Beary Fairy doll is set to be released this July! His name is Isul Beary Fairy Gosomi, and I'm already head over heels in love with him! The Beary Fairy series started back in 2011-2012, so he's the first new Beary Fairy doll release in a while!

From what I can tell, he is very beautifully designed! He's got an adorable plush bear costume with light brown fur and pastel purple and blue patches of fur on his arms and legs! Over his bear suit is a baby blue shirt decorated with polka dots and sweets with a small picture of him printed on the front! It seems that he also comes with a cute pastel bag adorned with bows and a cupcake decal to match his sweet theme!  He also has the prettiest violet eyes and lovely blonde hair that really compliment his whole look! I'm beary (excuse the pun) excited about this doll, as I have Dal Dalcomi (released in 2012) and had missed out on Pullip Kiyomi, so I really hope to add Gosomi to my doll family! He is currently available for pre-order at pullipstyle.com and is priced at $109.95. If you are interested in buying him, follow the link here!

Pullip Midori Fukasawa La Robe Vert Clair: Review

With her fabulously frilly dress and her stylish short curly bob, it was hard to resist Pullip Midori Fukusawa! How could I when she looked so much like royalty! Midori Fukusawa, along with Pullip Misako Aoki, is a Baby, the Stars Shine Bright collaboration doll and is made to resemble Baby model, Midori Fukusawa! She automatically became my favorite out of the two Baby dolls, though I still was set on buying both her and Pullip Misako! It seemed only right to get them together, and I don't regret that decision in the least!

Pullip Midori Fukusawa Comes With:

- Crown headpiece
- Pearl beaded necklace
- La Robe Vert Clair gown
- Removable sash
- Detachable bustle
- Two lace gloves
- White stockings
- A pair of white mary jane flats
- Pullip Midori Fukasawa's Trading Card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Her faceup makes her look mature and sharp, but by no means harsh. It's a nice contrast in comparison to Pullip Misako Aoki's faceup, since Misako's eye shape is more rounded and has a slight droop to them, and Midori's are slightly less wide and have more of an angle. (The way their lashes and eye shadow were painted on seems to be the biggest difference between their faceups, that and Misako has more blush on her cheeks that is more pink and has slightly bolder pink lips than Midori.)
-  Her curly short wig is very cute and unique!
- No visible wig netting can be seen! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her wig has a nice scent to it, almost like it has been sprayed with perfume! It may seem a bit odd, but whenever I pass by her, I sometimes stop just to sniff her wig. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- All of her ribbons on her stock are sewn on well. (May vary from doll to doll)
- Her shoes seem to fit her better than Pullip Misako Aoki's shoes do.
- Type 4 body!
- No issues with eye mechs! (May vary from doll to doll.)

Cons:

- Her curls are pretty frizzy and not very easy to manage.
- The metal crown isn't sewn very well onto the ribbon that ties around her head. It's a bit loose. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- The crown is too heavy for the ribbon and can make the ribbon slide off from her head. It needs to be very securely fastened to keep it in place.
- Stock is made of very delicate and light material that can be easily damaged if not cared for properly. Also, it may have many loose threads hanging off of it that need to be trimmed.
- Her joints are a little stiff making her difficult to pose. (May vary from doll to doll.)

Neutral:

- Her dress isn't as accurate to the actual La Robe Vert Clair dress. It's close, but it doesn't come as close as Pullip Misako Aoki's dress does to the real Favorite Ribbon dress.
- Her bustle attaches onto the back of her dress the same way Misako's bow does. It doesn't cause any issues if she is just staying still, but it does come off easily if she's being moved around. It's recommended that you keep the bustle off of her if you plan on taking her somewhere so it doesn't get lost.
- She costs quite a bit, especially since she doesn't come with as much as Pullip Misako Aoki does. ( She's priced the same as Pullip Misako at $135 on pullipstyle.com.) However, her stock is very elaborate, and she doesn't cost as much as some other collaboration dolls, so I feel that it's justifiable enough.

The Verdict:

I hands down really love this doll! She looks very much like royalty and has an air of elegance about her! Out of all my dolls, she is certainly the most regal! I'm personally really happy that she is a part of my collection! If you are a fan of Baby, the Stars Shine Bright or happen to love Midori Fukusawa, by all means, get her! If you've been considering buying her, I urge you to do so! You will not be sorry for it!

Pullip Misako Aoki Favorite Ribbon: Review

Pullip Misako Aoki Favorite Ribbon is one of two dolls that are part of a collaboration with the well-known lolita brand, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright! She is also designed after the popular Japanese model, Misako Aoki! As one who has admired Baby's designs for many years now, I was excited over this doll as well as Pullip Midori Fukasawa La Robe Vert Clair! I really wanted both dolls, and so I bought them together as a set from none other than pullipstyle! They are the first dolls so far that I felt absolutely must be bought together as a pair! It just wouldn't seem right to get one without the other! (I'll be doing a review on Midori right after I finish this one!)

Pullip Misako Aoki Comes With:

- Red ribbon headband with dangling charms
- Favorite Ribbon dress
- Light pink stockings
- Detachable bow
- Red heeled Mary Jane shoes
- Pink nurse cap
-Pink nurse uniform
- Misako's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Cute faceup! Her eyes are bordered by lots of long lashes that make her eyes look big and round and slightly droopy, giving her a youthful appearance.
- She comes with two outfits!
- No wig netting peeking through! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- The wig itself is very manageable.
- Stock outfit is very accurate looking compared to the real Favorite Ribbon dress!
- Type 4 body
- Well-functioning eye mechs! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Versatile and would look adorable in many different outfits and wigs!

Cons:

- The charms on her headband are heavy and cause the headband to fall off of her head even from the slightest of movements. It also tends to mess up her hair every time it falls, so you may find yourself having to fix it often.
- The metal heart charm also is not sewn on very well. It fell off even before I had opened the box and I had to stitch it back into place. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- The bow on her headband is a little lopsided. One side of the bow is bigger than the other and looks a little sloppy. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- The satin material her dress is made of can snag easily and can fray. Her sleeves are also made of thin material that can rip
- Wig cut unevenly. (I had to take a pair of scissors and even it out. This may vary from doll to doll.)

Neutral:

The bow in the back of her dress is detachable. It attaches onto it using a hook and a loop of thread. It falls off easily, but it doesn't bother me too badly, but I would advise removing it if you plan on taking her outside so you don't lose it.
- Her shoes are too big for her feet, but seem to stay on pretty well.
- A little expensive, priced at $135 on Pullip Style, but it's not so bad as she's a collaboration doll and comes with another outfit.

The Verdict:

This doll is extremely cute and does the real Misako Aoki justice! She really captures her girlish looks well! Her expression is also very sweet and gives her a playful and cheery look, which I absolutely love! Also, as I had previously stated, her stock is very accurate looking compared to the actual Favorite Ribbon dress! I really think that overall, Pullip Misako Aoki is worth getting! If you are a fan of Baby, the Stars Shine Bright or Misako Aoki herself, I would highly recommend buying this doll!

A New Best Friend, Lulu! ( Pullip Tokidoki x Hello Kitty Violetta)

Lulu has forced her way into Hanabi and Dahlia's friendship, but they don't seem to mind. Lulu seems to be making things more lively, and Hanabi certainly appreciates that! Dahlia is most definitely going to have her hands full watching over these two, though I'm pretty sure that she secretly enjoys doing so.

Hanabi and Lulu are goofing off, and Dahlia's embarrassed by their antics.

Pullip Akemi: Review

Before I had even had a doll of my own and just had a general interest in Pullip dolls, Akemi was one of the dolls that really grabbed my attention and one of the ones I was considering for my first Pullip. It was hard not to be pulled in by her. She stuck out so much among the other dolls with her bright colors! She has such personality to her, too! She just looks as if she's bursting with energy and would be extremely hyperactive! How could I possibly pass up such a fun looking doll? Sheryl Designs really had knocked it out of the park with this girl!

Pullip Akemi Comes With:

- A sweater with functional zippers and a retro cassette tape design printed on the front
- A striped dress
- Cellphone and headphones
- Striped mismatched socks
- Striped legwarmers
- Pink striped beanie
- Pink scarf
-A pair of tennis shoes
- Striped underwear
- Pullip Akemi's trading card
- Doll stand

Pros:

- Wig is a nice combination of blue and pink!
- The wig netting isn't visible on her. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Wig is very easily managed!
- She has two different colored eyechips, giving her a cool look!
-  Colorful faceup!
- Her eye lids are painted to match her pink and blue theme! Very original, since most Pullips have only one solid color on their lids!
- Comes with quite a few accessories!
- Her stock and accessories are for the most part, very well-made! (Will elaborate more on that further into this post.)
- Has a loop sewn onto her skirt to hang her cellphone on!
- Functional zippers allow you remove the sleeves of her sweater if you choose!
- Cellphone opens and shuts!
- The different pattern and color combinations on her outfit work very nicely together!
- Shoes stay on her feet well.
- Eye mechs work great! (May vary from doll to doll.)

Cons:

- The wire connecting her headphones to her cellphone is weakly held in place and very fragile. The cord on mine suddenly broke off from the bottom part of the cellphone and couldn't be reattached.
- the under layer of her skirt is made of very delicate material that can possibly tear if you are not careful with it.
- The loop sewn on her skirt is fragile and the threads binding it can come undone. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Putting on her beanie can be a little challenging.

Neutral:

- Her wig is pretty thin at the bottom. Some people may consider this a con, but I don't see it as so. I'm pretty indifferent about it, especially since I like her wig overall.
- She is a little expensive, but definitely costs less than most other collaboration dolls. (Priced at $127.95 on pullipstyle.com)

The Verdict:

I absolutely adore Akemi! She's so lively looking and spunky and fun! She has a unique look to her that makes her really stand out! If you're looking for a doll with lots of character and a funky style, Akemi just may be for you!

Garnet and Opal ( Pullip Misako and Pullip Midori) : Royal Sisters!

I'm so happy that I finally have pictures of both Garnet (Pullip Misako Aoki Favorite Ribbon) and Opal (Pullip Midori Fukasawa La Robe Vert Clair)! I had them in last week but I didn't have a camera so I just now had taken some pictures of them. I've decided to turn them both into princesses who live in a castle in Dream Land! Opal is the eldest of the two sisters and is very duty-bound and responsible. She carries herself with grace and elegance. She deeply loves her kingdom and will do anything to keep it safe from the Nightmares. Garnet is a bubbly girl who, unlike her sister, is very flighty and often thinks of marrying a handsome prince. She also likes to skip out on her lessons often to go out and play in the kingdom's garden square. Despite this, when Dream Land needs her, she is more than willing to step up and lend her aid.

Reviews for these two will be coming soon!

Pullip Tokidoki Lunarosa: Review

As a big fan of Tokidoki and the color pink, I was absolutely thrilled about Lunarosa! She was released roughly around the time I started getting into Pullip dolls, and before I had seen her I saw Pullip Tokidoki Luna, and while I really liked Luna's green hair (which is a very uncommon hair color among the Pullip family dolls), I didn't quite love her overall color scheme; I just thought there was too much going on what with the green and blue in her hair, bold pink lip color, and the bright fuschia and black skirt. Don't get me wrong, I still think Luna is pretty, but I just thought (and still do think) that Lunarosa's colors mesh much better together. So with that, I snapped her up as fast as I could, before she even had the chance to become sold out like Luna did!

Lunarosa Comes With:

- A Ciaociao beanie
- Donutella plushie
- A Tokidoki print bag
- A SANDy T-shirt
- Black and white Tokidoki skull and crossbones skirt
- Light purple shorts
- Tokidoki print shirt (matches the bag she comes with)
- Fushia and black striped socks
- Studded white ankle boots
- White studded choker and wrist cuffs
- Sticker tattoos
- Tokidoki Lunarosa's Trading Card
- Doll Stand

Pros:

- Her stock is nicely made! The material is light, but durable enough to not tear easily.
- Painted teeth give her a nice and happy expression!
- Her faceup is lighter and softer looking than Luna's. (This is a plus in my personal opinion.)
- Her hair is a pretty combination of white and hot pink and is fairly thick
- No wig netting showing through. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- No frizzy hair! It also doesn't seem very likely that her hair will get messed up, and seems to be very manageable.
- She comes with a lot!
- Her shorts and extra shirt allow you to mix and match to create different looks!
- The sticker tattoos are fun and can be placed anywhere you'd like!
- Her bag is very well made and can be worn slung across her chest and shoulder, or you can remove the long strap and have her hold it like a regular handbag. (The strap is held by lobster claw clasp that makes it easy to put on or take off).
- She doesn't seem to have much of an issue with her clothing staining her body like Luna's stock reportedly does. (I haven't had any staining problems on my Lunarosa so far, but it's possible that her socks or skirt can stain, though.)

Cons:

- The studs on her choker and bracelets are prone to peeling off easily. They're almost like small stickers.
- The studs on her boots may fall off and the paint on them may easily scratch off. On my Lunarosa, there was a scratch in the paint on them before I even took her out of her box. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Wig may be cut unevenly. (May vary from doll to doll.)

Neutral:

- The rubber band that holds her hair back in her packaging may cause a kink in her hair, but it is possible that it will smooth out over time.
- Her eyelids are just painted a flesh tone that matches her skin color. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it would have been nice to have had them painted a fun color to match the eye shadow on her crease.
-She's a bit pricey, but she comes with quite a bit, so it evens out a little. (She's $144 USD on pullipstyle.com)

The Verdict:

Lunarosa is a doll with an edgy yet sweet appearance! She has a somewhat punk rocker look to her and would look great in various punk and possibly emo and pastel goth fashions. She may be a bit too pink for some, and her faceup, though not so bold like Luna's, doesn't make her very versatile when it comes to dressing her up in other styles deviating away from the punk/emo/pastel goth genre. If that doesn't bother you, I think she'd be a great doll to get. Also, if you love Tokidoki, she is a doll that I would highly recommend buying!

Best Friends Hanabi and Dahlia! (Pullip Akemi and Pullip Tokidoki Lunarosa)

When I saw both Hanabi and Dahlia together I thought they looked so great next to each other, that I snapped a couple of photos of them! In just a short amount of time, they became the best of friends and are now inseparable!  It's nice to know that even though they're so different, they can get along!

Reviews for both of them will be coming soon!

Dal Milch: Review

It was another day of just browsing pullipstyle.com and looking through their updates window to see if they had any new dolls in stock, when I saw one that said Dal Milch has been added into their inventory. Curious to see what she looked like, I clicked the link that was provided and found the most heavenly looking doll I had ever laid my eyes upon, literally! She looked so radiant, shining in pure white from the very top of her head down to the tips of her toes. While her dress was simple, it was by no means plain. It had just enough ribbon, lace, and pearl accents to satisfy my frilly tastes. I also loved how it gave off a nice, clean appearance. Another thing that I really liked about her was that her faceup was a bit different to most Dals. The way it was done gave her a gentler and more friendly appearance versus Dal's usual petulant expression. I was immediately sold on her, and when I finally had her in my hands, I was not disappointed in the least!

Dal Milch Comes With:

- A feathered Halo
- A pair of angel wings
- A dress
- Two white satin ribbons that tie around her wrists
- A double stranded pearl choker
- White mesh tights
- A pair of white satin ballerina slippers
-Dal Milch's trading card
- White doll stand

Pros:

- Her halo is attached to a hair clip to help keep it in place.
- Nice, soft faceup
- Her wings are held on by a button snap sewn onto the back of her dress.
- Her blue eyes really stand out against her white hair and stock and seem to be more vivid looking in person!
-  No netting peering through her wig. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Pearls and ribbons are very well attached to her stock. It's very unlikely for them to come loose or fall off. (May vary from doll to doll)
- Very affordable! She is one of the least expensive dolls you can buy! She currently is priced at $68.00 USD on pullipstyle.com!

Cons:

- Like Dal Sakura, she suffers from a floppy body, though not nearly as badly as Sakura. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- It's possible for her stock to become dirty easily and easily stained, as it is all completely white.
- If the ribbons on her shoes or her wrists come undone or if you remove them and want to put them back on, it's a bit frustrating to tie them up because they're so small.

Neutral:

- The feathers from her halo and her wings shed a bit, but it's not too bad to where it creates a mess. I would advise not touching them or messing around with them too much to avoid that, though.
- Her wig is really thick, by far the thickest of all my dolls. This can be both good and bad; good in the sense that it will stay very well in place, but bad because it may be difficult to style or brush it.
- Her wings can get in the way if you try to place her on her stand, but it can be done! You just need to somewhat tuck the metal part that goes around her waist under them a bit.

The Verdict:

I highly would recommend Dal Milch to anyone who has a soft spot for Dals! She is an ethereal beauty who would be great for display or for photographing! Also, because she's so inexpensive for a doll in the Pullip family, there is really no reason to pass her up!

Dal Sakura: Review

I can't help but be drawn to springy curls and flowing waves, so it's no surprise that, along with being covered from head-to-toe in hime-gyaru fashion, is what caught my attention when I saw Sakura. Being a sucker for anything with ribbons, frills, and lace tacked onto it, it was nearly impossible for me not to get my hands on her as soon as I possibly could! When I finally did, I couldn't have been more happy! Everything about her exuded the air of a spoiled princess, from her prim and perfectly coordinated clothing and accessories to her pouty expression that Dal is so very famous for! I was loving her more and more by the second!

What Sakura Comes With:

- A headband decorated with a bow and two flowers made from satin ribbon attached to the knot of it
- A white laced bolero with a ribbon placed on the front of the collar and two strands of beads and roses on the shoulders
- One-piece dress with a rose print pattern on the bodice and a multi-layered gauze and satin skirt
- A tulle petticoat
- Two sheer pink gloves, one with a pearl beaded bracelet sewn onto it
- A purse
- White fishnet stockings
-Pink platform heels with white bows above the toes and pearls and rhinestones glued to the sides
- Sakura's trading card
- Pink glittery doll stand

Pros:
- No netting showing through on wig, her bouffant prevents it from doing so
-Ringlets are springy and not especially frizzy. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Face up is very pretty! Her eye shadow and eyeliner are all black to draw attention to her lovely gray eyes, and her lips are painted a frosted light pink! It's very true to the way hime-gyaru girls do their makeup.
- Her headband fits nicely on her head! It stays very well in place!
- Her purse has a nice floral design printed onto it and is soft and pillowy! It also has a beaded handle and a cute pink butterfly bead sewn on it for decoration.
- Her dress is very light and poofy, very feminine!
-No loose threads hanging from her stock. (May vary from doll to doll)
- Bow detailing are very well sewn on and aren't likely to fall off! (May vary from doll to doll.)
- Her shoes do not fall off of her feet!

Cons:

- The beads and rhinestones on her shoes fall off very easily. Straight out of the box before I even touched her shoes, they were coming off and I had to glue them back into place.
- She has a very floppy body that makes her difficult to pose and more prone to falling over even when placed on her stand. (May vary from doll to doll.)
- The top layer of her skirt is made of very thin, light material that could be easily torn if you are not careful.
- Her gloves, mainly the one with the bracelet on it, are really difficult to put on, and are also made of fragile material.
- Her curls must be treated delicately with care, otherwise they could possibly become undone or messy, like most dolls with curly hair.

Neutral:

- There are some fly-aways and loose hairs on her bouffant, but were able to be smoothed down back into place with some anti-frizz serum.
- Her wig is elaborately styled and is gorgeous, but it doesn't allow you to style it in a different way due to the top part being so stiff and all of her curls.
- The shades of pink on her dress are darker than shown on the stock photos.

The Verdict:

I don't think that Sakura is for everyone. While I love her, I can see how she wouldn't suit everyone's tastes, as her appearance can make her seem like she belongs in one of those glitzy child beauty pageants and that can be pretty off-putting to some. However, if you are a fan of the hime-gyaru style or Japanese fashion in general like I am, I feel she'd be an excellent doll to get! She has so much attitude and is very fashionable, which would make her perfect to put out on display!
